WOOCOMMERCE INTEGRATION

Let customers use multiple supported payment sources for one WooCommerce order.

The HustlePay Payment Connector creates a checkout session, sends the required order/customer context and returns status through callbacks. Actual payment processing and settlement remain with the configured PSPs.

From WooCommerce order to status returned to WooCommerce

  1. WooCommerce creates the order context and starts a HustlePay session.
  2. The shopper uses sources available for that merchant configuration.
  3. Configured PSPs authorize and process.
  4. Signed callbacks return status to the connected order flow.

Compatibility and data flow

WordPress.org currently lists version 0.9.2, WordPress 6.1+ and test/live modes. Confirm the live listing before production. The connector can send order ID, amount, currency, description, URLs, line items, fees, shipping, tax and billing/contact context. It does not store full card numbers or CVVs.

This is an early-stage public connector; use a controlled design-partner rollout and document acceptance, monitoring and rollback.

WooCommerce integration questions

Can customers use two cards for one WooCommerce order?

Yes. With HustlePay for WooCommerce, a customer can fund one eligible order using multiple supported payment sources. HustlePay coordinates the checkout, while the merchant’s configured PSPs handle authorization, processing and settlement of the individual payment legs.

Is HustlePay a payment gateway or processor?

No. It is a checkout-orchestration connector; the selected PSPs remain responsible for processing and settlement. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

Which payment sources are available?

They depend on the merchant account, configured PSPs, supported methods and region. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

How does installation work?

Install the public HustlePay Payment Connector, confirm the documented WordPress and WooCommerce requirements, configure matching test credentials and complete acceptance testing before enabling live mode. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

What data can the connector send?

Order, amount, currency, item, tax, shipping, callback and customer billing/contact context needed to create and reconcile the checkout session. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

Does the WordPress connector store full card numbers or CVVs?

The public plugin disclosure says it does not store full card numbers or CVVs. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

What if one payment source fails?

The checkout session and PSP responses determine status. Partial and failure handling must be covered in acceptance testing. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.

Can the integration be tested?

Yes. Use matching HustlePay and PSP test credentials before enabling live mode. The merchant should confirm compatibility, credentials, callback verification, order-state handling, support ownership and rollback criteria before enabling live checkout.
